Computer clock not updating dst
I don’t know about you, but ever since the 2007 change in daylight savings time, my installation of Windows XP has had a difficult time (so to speak) maintaining consistently accurate time.
Ever since the change, Windows XP has been randomly resetting its clock (as indicated via the Taskbar) to display time incorrectly.
We changed to DST this last weekend and I just now noticed my pc clock didn't make the change.
I went into the time settings and the automatic daylight savings button was greyed out and set to off.
Microsoft Windows has established an annual update schedule for Daylight Saving Time (DST) and Time Zone (TZ) releases.
At the bottom of the time and date window, select Change date and time settings.
In the Date and Time settings window, click the Internet Time tab and then select Change Settings.
Click the clock once to bring up the detailed time and date display, which shows you a mini calendar and analog clock.
You may also see clocks for additional time zones here if you have previously enabled that feature.
